Check the
following questions and answers to find quickly and easily every information
you need about the bedpark hotel.
1. How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation online directly via www.bedpark.de as well as at the
telephone in the respective house. In addition you can conveniently book with
your smartphone on the go via our mobile website or via various hotel portals.
2. What are the reception times and when
can I check-in?
The reception is open every day from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m (on mondays until 7 p.m.). The check-in times for
Christmas holidays and New Year's Eve can be found on our homepage. Guests who
have already made a reservation, will be informed about changes by phone and by
e-mail.
3. Can I also check-in after 6 p.m.?
You can easily check-in
after 6 p.m.. For such a case, we have a check-in terminal next to our front
door. For this purpose, you only need your last name or the name of the booker and
/ or your booking number.
4. What do I do if I lose my key or
forget it in the room?
In case of a key card loss, you need your booking number and your last name to
get a new key card. With this details you can conveniently create a new key at
the "bedpark Spaeti" via the point "I lost my key card".
Please make sure that you create what you need; a "replacement" or a
"copy" of your key card.
5. Until what time do I have to check-out?
Check-out is with us whenever you want - but not later than 11 a.m. clock on
departure. A later check-out is possible for a small fee. Please contact us in
advance. Check-out after 1 p.m. will be handled and charged the same as another
booked night.
6. At what age am I allowed to book a room at
bedpark?
To be allowed to book a
room with us, you have to be at least 18 years old or have to bring a
declaration of consent from your parents with a signature and a valid ID copy
to the check in. The minimum age is 16 years.
7. Is there breakfast available at the hotel?
Unfortunately we don’t
offer breakfast directly at the hotel. But there is a big bakery located on the
other street side, which offers a nice breakfast. For a little snack we have a snack machine with hot and cold drinks, as well as small snacks
in the house.
8. What payment options do I have at bedpark?
You can pay in advance by
bank transfer or during the check-in from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. on the spot in cash,
by debit or credit card. If you arrive after 6 p.m. a payment can only be done
by debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard) at our check-in terminal.
9. What is the legal value added tax?
Current VAT rate on an
overnight stay is 7%, other services are taxed at 19%. Our prices include the
respective statutory value added tax. If there is an increase in VAT after
booking the room, the VAT rate applicable at the time of your stay applies.
This may increase the room rate.
10. What is the city tax and who has to pay the
tax?
The city of Hamburg
raises a culture and tourism tax (short city tax) for hotel accommodation for
private travelers. Their amount depends on the respective room rate. Business
travelers are exempt from the tax (with proof). You can download the
corresponding form here.
11. Why are rooms more expensive than usual on
some days?
For events and
concerts in Hamburg, our prices may differ significantly from our standard
price. This depends on the utilization of our houses and the booking situation
in Hamburg. Please understand that our prices increase a bit for such events.
12. How much do I pay for another person in the
room and is there a possibility of an extra bed?
If another person
stays in your room, the cost is € 20.00 per night/room. The bedpark offers
extra beds in the room, subject to availability. The cost for this is € 35.00 per
night. Children cots are not
available. However, travel cots for babys can be brought by yourself.
13. How can I arrive by car and are there
parking spaces?
We offer you secured
parking on availability on our backyard. We only have a limited number, so a
parking space is only guaranteed with prior reservation and will be charged in
case of a no show. Please your parking ticket visible in your car, so we can
recognize that you’re a guest of our hotel. Spontaneous parking reservations after 6 p.m. are
not possible. (Entrance height: 2.40 m). We wish
you a safe journey!
14. How do I get to... Hamburg Airport / Main
Station / Congress Center (CCH)?
On our arrival page
named "Location" you’ll find all the necessary information on how to
get to the hotel, the Congress Center, Hamburg Airport and Central Station.
15. Is there free Wi-Fi in the hotel?
You can use our Wi-Fi
at any time free of charge. You’ll find he corresponding password on arrival
day in your room.
16. Are pets allowed in the hotel?
We like animals
very much, but unfortunately not in our house. Since we are an allergy-friendly
hotel, please keep your small friends at home. But the Hagenbeck Zoo is only a
few bus stops from Stellingen.
17. Can I smoke in the hotel?
The bedpark is a
non-smoking hotel. In accordance with applicable laws and in consideration of
our guests, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the hotel. Guests who breach
the smoking ban will be charged a penalty fee of € 250.00. For further information
please contact the reception.
18. Does the hotel provide luggage service and
storage of guest luggage for arrival and departure?
Unfortunately, we
offer no possibility of luggage storage. For an additional charge of € 10.00,
an early check-in could be possible during the week from Mon. - Fri. Please
contact the reception for details and capacity. Alternatively you can use the
lockers at the main station to put your luggage at short notice.
19. What happens if I forget things in the
hotel?
If you have forgotten
things in your room when you leave, you can contact us at the reception. We will
send you your stuff for a small expense and shipping fee.
