1. General terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all guest contracts concluded between bedpark and third parties (overnight guests). Our agreements are positioned so as to be clearly visible in every bedpark and are on display for guests to see. Through this fact alone, they are sufficiently brought to the attention of the customers, the parties to the accommodation contracts and third parties in the sense of the German Civil Code (BGB).

 

2. Reservations

The acceptance of a reservation made by a guest causes an accommodation contract to come into existence. This contract, in the form of the reservation of the booked rooms, is binding for both parties. Guests are not entitled to stay the night in a particular room. bedpark reserves the right to let the reserved room out to other guests once the reservation has expired (it expires at 6 p.m.). bedpark shall send the guest a binding written confirmation of reservation.
 

3. Guaranteed reservations, cancellation deadlines / fees

A booking is only guaranteed after 6 p.m. if the guest guarantees payment on the day of arrival – either by paying a deposit to the hotel (supporting documentation required) or by providing a valid credit card – and if the guest does not cancel the reservation before 6 p.m. on the day of arrival.


In the event of a cancellation, the following cancellation fees apply:

– Up to 21 days before arrival      none
– 20–3 days before arrival            50%
– 2–0 days before arrival              90%


If, having made a booking that is not guaranteed through a third-party booking portal (such as HRS), the guest does not arrive at the hotel by 6 p.m., the booking will become invalid, no compensation will be paid to the guest and the reserved rooms will be freely available. If a booking is guaranteed – where the guest has guaranteed payment by providing his/her credit card information – the hotel room will remain reserved for the guest after 6 p.m.


If the guest does not arrive, a cancellation fee will be charged. The amount of the cancellation fee can be found on the third-party booking portals. Different cancellation fee rules apply to group reservations of more than three rooms. These are agreed individually and in writing.

4. Advance payment

The price of the entire booked accommodation services shall be paid by the guest always in advance, within 5 business days after the booking. For last minute bookings (from 3 days before the date of arrival), the total amount will be charged in cash (or debit / credit card) on arrival. In case of an early departure the guest is not entitled to a refund of the remaining balance. The guest also have to pay the possible cleaning or downtime costs if the room is not left in time. (Check out until 11:00 am)
 

5. Means of payment

Payment is made by bank transfer or in cash in euros. A cashless payment is possible at check in by debit card, and also by credit card. If the guest pay's by credit card a 2% credit card fee will be raised.
 

6. Usage of reserved rooms

Reserved rooms are available to the guest from 15:00 at the day of arrival until 11:00 am on departure day.
 

7. Liability of guests for items brought with them

The hotel is not responsible for the safekeeping of any type of item brought by guests into their rooms and cannot therefore be held liable for their fate. This applies to valuables in particular. Please note that bedpark does not offer to store items in the hotel safe or any similar secure container. Therefore, guests bring items at their own risk. bedpark does not store any cases, bags or other items for guests before they obtain their room key or after they leave their room.
 

8. No smoking

bedpark is a non smoking Pension. Therefore, it is forbidden to smoke in the rooms and throughout the property. In the event of an infringement, bedpark has the right to charge corresponding separately expended cleaning costs and rental losses from the non- rental of the room, to the guest.
 

9. Collateral agreements/written form requirement

Collateral agreements and amendments must be made in writing in order to be effective. The same applies to any waiver of the written form requirement.
 

10. Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising between the parties as a result of the contractual relationship is Hamburg, provided that the contractual partner of bedpark is an entrepreneur, corporate body under public law or a special fund under public law.
